The journal critically explores how lifelong learning ecosystems can be engineered to foster adaptive capacity, economic resilience, and cognitive sustainability in an era of rapid technological and demographic shifts.

Scope and Topics

EJLLS encourages high-impact original research articles, comparative policy analyses, conceptual models, and systematic reviews addressing the structural and functional dimensions of lifelong learning systems:

  • Lifelong Learning Policy & Governance: Macro-level strategies, qualification frameworks, cross-border educational mobility, and regional/national lifelong learning architectures.
